Children-Our Central Focus

While we believe that the best place for children to grow and thrive is within their own communities, families and Homes; we also appreciate that there’s an increasing number of Children who are left without proper care, protection and support. Each of these Children need special attention to their needs; however, as much as we may never be able to meet every Child’s special need, we focus on the basic general needs where every Child can have an opportunity to a Family-like environment, be nurtured in a loving way and treated as a Child. We always look for opportunities that can open a door to a better life for them; where every Child can go to school, have the appropriate daily meals and a healthier life with spiritual nourishment. Apparently LLIAM, under Home care support, serves 48 Children between 2-18 years of age . They receive an education, eat healthy meals, get medical care, clothing and also learn about the life-changing love of Jesus.

For the Children who stay in their homes but under LLIAM Home care program; we provide them with the much needed support in terms of education, food and nutrition care, and also support the family in financial terms –say equip them with an income generating activity or skill in order to create a level of self sustenance. Because there’s always need, here’s an opportunity to touch a life. Support the Construction Works at LLIAM Village

Our prayer is that you would consider joining in the work God is doing through LLIAM Children’s ministry through these opportunities. The Children's Home LLIAM was working out of rented premises to provide for accommodation, care and support to the Children under its care until 2019 when God made a way and a wonderful generous soul gave us the gift of a place to call Home Forever-Uncle Vic will always be remembered for this gracious act of love and divine gift to all the Children who will be nurtured under the roof of this beautiful Home. Apparently there's still a lot of finishing and furnishings needed to make of this house the safe, beautiful home that will breath hope, abundant life and transformation to the Children who need it the most. The Outside plastering and both in and out finishing: $4,000 : Give your gift towards this need to help us see the completion of our beautiful house. Fund this Project Veranda Railing: $780: The home is the most common place for children to be injured. Children don't just need space to live but a rather a safe place. One of our Children almost broke her arm when she accidentally fell off the veranda. Donate to this urgent need to save us from such future accidents/injuries and also give our Children a safe space to live and play. Fund this Project Installing Floor Tiles in the entire house: $3,400: We want to do away with the dusty floors. Some Children whose mattresses are put on the floor are getting it so tough to keep their beds clean from time to time, Give our Children a conducive environment to live, play and rest. Fund this Project Beds and bedding: $3,430: We do not have enough beds for all our Children. Some Children have to sleep 3 and others 4 on a shared mattress. You can buy a bed or bedding to help give each Child a comfortable night of sleep. Owning a mattress also gives our Children a sense of possession and own space. We need to buy 8 more double bank beds with mattresses and blankets/bed covers each bank bed with fittings costing $428 Fund this Project Kitchen Fittings and Fixtures: $2,850: Kitchen is one of the vital spaces in a home. It is where we prepare nutritious meals for our Children. It is also a hub of storage. It therefore has to be neat, organized and safe. Donate to help us install cupboards, worktops, appliances, sink, and other necessary fixtures in our Kitchen. Fund this Project Installing bathroom fittings and Fixtures: $3,600: Having the right bathrooms/toilets not only serves a fundamental hygienic function, but it also helps to teach and groom our Children in the best practices of Personal hygiene. Fund this Project Construction of the septic Tank:$2000 : To be able use our bathrooms we must have the septic tank in place. Fund this Project Rain water Harvesting with Underground Tank: $2000: Even though we have a shallow well which serves water at the Children's Home, there is need to construct an underground water tank with at least 10,000 liters storage. The need for harvesting rain water is very important here in Uganda.About 60 percent of shallow wells normally dry up in the dry season. Harvested rain water guarantees clean water through the dry weather seasons which affects so many families here. Fund this Project Compound Pavers: $3,931 : Pave way for all the Children and people who come through the gates of LLIAM Home. As they relax, play and meditate, give them a feeling of hope, new beginnings and endless possibilities while the enjoy the beautiful serene space at the Children's Home. It costs about $14.4 to pave a square meter and our need is to pave an entire 273 square meter space for the patio and the exclusive Children's play court Fund this Project
